The hackathon starts with a one week sprint where the teams work to build something which can be delivered or presented as a work-in-progress after seven days.
Teams can either build their own or choose from a list of vetted ideas on supported ecosystems At the end of the week, teams present what they have. This can be a pitch, demo, or document.
We create our selection
The Labs team will take up to a week to review the submissions and select approximately 20 teams to work with more closely in the final phase of the hackathon.
Hackathon finals
The final phase of the hackathon is a two week period where teams will continue developing their ideas, working closely with us for feedback and support.
At the end of this period the top 3 winners for each ecosystem are selected and receive prizes.
Accelerator Selection
The Labs team will take a week to talk further with the hackathon finalists regarding their hunger to continue building for the long term with us, and also have final conversations with any teams who applied directly to the accelerator.
At the end of the week we'll have made some tough decisions and arrived at the final list of approximately five teams to join us for the full accelerator.
